Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily administration activities

  • Monitoring expenses and suggesting cost-effective solutions

  • Creating quarterly and annual budgets

  • Oversee procurement at the hospital and/or the sub-county health facilities

  • Develop and implement effective policies for all operational procedures

  • Ensure work schedules and work plans are prepared

  • Maintain organized medical and employee records

  • Logistics operations

  • Monitor administrative staff’s performance

  • Ensure prompt ordering and stocking of medical and office supplies

  • Oversee staffs and patients’ welfare

    Requirements

    For appointment to this job, a candidate should:

  • Bachelors’ degree in health/hospital
    administration/education/business management/public administration or any other related field

  • Master’ degree will be an added advantage

  • 10 years’ work experience

  • Senior Management Course lasting for not less than 4 weeks

  • Computer literacy

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organizational skills
