Bomet County Clinical Officer Specialists – (Ophthalmologist Jobs in Kenya
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Ophthalmologist in charge, the specialist will: -
Work in ophthalmology unit and discharge both clinical, supervisory and Mentorship duties.
Provide treatment for wide variety of common eye problems
Evaluate symptoms, run tests to diagnose a patient’s condition and then prescribe medication or treatment to remedy the illness or injury.
Carry out corrective eye surgeries
Train students attached to the unit
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery, Oncology, Anaesthesiology, paediatrics, Dermatology) from a recognized institution
Have a registration certificate and a valid practicing license issued by the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
Must be willing to work during odd hours and on weekends/holidays
Must have served as a Clinical officer for at least three (3) years
