Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the head of the section, the duties at this level will include:

Scheduling clients and attending casting sessions

Selecting actors

Interpreting scripts and understanding the story and narrative style

Attending rehearsals to ensure actors understand your artistic vision

Identifying set locations for different scenes in the film work within budgetary constraints

Ensuring adherence to a production schedule to ensure the film is completed on time.

Linking with a camera crew, art directors, costume designers and musical composer to ensure a consistency creative execution

Any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time

Requirements to Appointments

Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Film Production, Music,

Performing Arts or any other recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Proficiency in film creativity and production is an added advantage

Proficiency in Computer applications.
