We’re looking for an experienced People Operations Manager, who will play a key role in managing our People Services Team and People Experience Team. The ideal candidate would be a catalyst for change, comfortable with challenging embedded perceptions and practices, be a critical thinker with a growth mindset, and have a passion for delivering a great employee experience.

Leading People Operations for Africa and collaborating globally on initiatives to continue scaling our people infrastructure, data accuracy and improving our employees journeys at Bolt.

Your daily adventures will include:

Manage the Africa People Operations team for Services Delivery responsible for HR transactions and documents & the Global People Experience team responsible for Ticketing system and Knowledge base

Ensure the highest standards of Continuous and Operational Excellence, driving out complexity in our processes and practices and establishing a culture of continuous improvement within our people team

Lead the People Experience transformation and implementation of Ticketing system

Design and implement a robust knowledge base fit for purpose

Support Bolt in compliance and legislative requirements across all markets in Africa

Play a pivotal role in communication across all stakeholders to create awareness and increase collaboration and maintain the knowledge base relevant.

Lead resolution of employee and COE escalations as appropriate

Coach and direct local People Operation team members to allow them to achieve both organizational and individual objectives

Accountable for projects that improve the delivery and effectiveness of our People Operations team

We are looking for:

2+ years experience of managing fast-paced teams

Able to thrive in a rapidly-growing environment while maintaining integrity, confidentiality, and composure

Confident, clear, and professional communication skills

Experience of working in matrixed organizations is a plus

Knowledgeable in leading HR service

delivery & transformation

Experience in HR technology - Workday, Smartsheets, Box, Hellosign, Lessonly, Leapsome

Experience in managing multiple process design projects, building a ticketing system and knowledge base platform

Skilful in managing a team as well as multiple HR processes, documents , systems and projects

General understanding of employment legislation in multiple countries and regions across Africa

Agile and responsible, ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accordingly

Attention to detail and data accuracy

Change management & project management experience is a plus

Knowledgeable in Benefits administration for African countries is desirable
