Biovision Project Manager Jobs in Kenya
Initially, the position is on a one year contract; with a three months’ probation period; and a possibility of extension for 3 years depending on performance and availability of funds.
This is a locally recruited position and is open to Kenyan nationals only.
Reporting:
The Manager, reporting to the Farmer Communication Programme Coordinator, oversees the operations of The Organic Farmer Magazine (TOF) and Radio projects.
The projects are part of the Biovision Farmer Communication Programme (FCP) in Biovision Africa Trust (BvAT).
The project manager is responsible for planning and producing the magazine copies and radio programs monthly and weekly respectively. For the magazine the manager is responsible for publication, printing and distribution of the magazine to its target groups.
Doubling as the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, the manager has to ensure that the magazine is carefully proofread, edited and checked for accuracy, easy reading and relevance.
For the radio, the manager is responsible for planning, collection of raw data from farmers and experts in various fields in line with BvAT’s policies, processing the collected data into programs to be broadcasted and uploading the same to you tube and relevant websites.
