Biovision Farmer Communication Programme Coordinator Jobs in Kenya

Initially, the position is on a one year contract; with a three months’ probation period; and a possibility of extension depending on performance and availability of funds. This is a locally recruited position and is open to Kenyan nationals only.

Reporting:

The Coordinator of the Farmer Communication Programme (FCP) reporting to BvAT Executive Director is expected to play a key role in maintaining a strategic vision for the programme, maintaining constructive relationships both inside and outside of the organization and ensuring overall programme quality and impact.

The coordinator is responsible for the operations and major decisions of all the programme’s projects; namely; Farmer Communication Outreach, Infonet, The Organic (TOF) Magazine and TOF Radio in Kenya; and Mkulima Mbunifu Magazine programme through partnership with Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania (SAT) in Tanzania.

He/she is responsible for ensuring smooth coordination, planning and implementation of the programme activities in close cooperation with the respective project managers to address ecological sustainable agriculture and

He/she has the additional substantive responsibility of supporting fundraising to support the sustainability of the FCP projects.
