Job DescriptionThe Front Office Supervisor is responsible for supervising and controlling all front office staff together with the Front Office Manager, if the area is up to standards laid down by the hotel, to maximize revenue and profit to agreed budgetary limits.
Main Task
Ensure that all repeated guest are treated as VIP and amenities are extended throughout their stay.
Ensure all front office management operation is in line with the hotel policy.
Provide high degree of professional service to arriving and departing guests.
Maintain a good relation with high producing corporate and travel agents.
Make sure all front line staff, reception, reservation, concierge, and telephone operators are providing a high standard of service.
All VIP arrivals are provided with a very high standard of service.
Carry out systematic check in the front of house area for maintenance requirement, repair or refurbishments, ensuring that there are auctioned without delay.
Handle guest complains in a professional manner.
Train front office staff to do up and cross selling.
Control guest transportation requirements and oversee vehicle availability.
To work very closely with the Housekeeping & Maintenance department, getting all updates about room’s status, inform about VIP and priority rooms etc.
Make sure all out of the hotel surrounding area are clean and safe and see the security of guest.
Update the senior management on daily basis hotel occupancy and forecast for the coming dates.
Job Requirements
Degree in Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major;
3-5 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
COC Certificate (Level III & above) is a must
Excellent supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in 4*/5* star international hotels chain Property/ similar position in the Reception.
Experience working with multi-cultural teams.
Proficient in using Opera and Microsoft Office.
