Baringo County Pharmaceutical Technologist Jobs in Kenya



Duties and responsibilities

  • Dispense drugs/medicines to patients under supervision of a senior officer.

  • Receive, interpret, and process prescriptions,

  • Record prescriptions in a pharmacy unit;

  • Pre-package, repack and write instructions on labels,

  • Counsel patients on usage of drugs in a pharmacy unit;

  • Maintain drug registers/books; and

  • Stock-take of drugs and medicinal devices on monthly basis.

  • Any other duties to be assigned by the supervisor.

    Requirements for the appointment

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen.

  • Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent qualification approved by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board from a recognized institution;

  • Registration certificate by Pharmaceutical Technologist by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
    (PPB);

  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution

  • 3 years of experience
