Baringo County Government Risk Management Officer - Service Delivery Unit Jobs in Kenya



Duties and responsibilities

  • Studying statistical data to create an analysis;

  • Creating estimates of probability and likely costs for a given event;

  • Calculating how insurance policies for different types of coverage are likely to pay out;

  • Collaborating with other financial professionals, including economists, accountants and financial advisors;

  • Generating charts, models, tables and other tools to represent any conclusions;

  • Analyzing reports to assist in decision making;

  • Creating solutions to reduce financial risks

  • Any other duty assigned by the supervisor

    Requirements for the appointment

  • Degree in Actuarial Science or statistics or any other related field from a recognized University

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of actuarial software in terms of capabilities and output;

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Computer literate in MS Office and other office applications
