Responsibilities

Managing events

  • Conduct pre-event meetings with Banqueting staff to delegate work
  • Maintain communication with clients and the on-site team to ensure service is as expected
  • Respond to clients grievances while on-site and off-site
  • Collect and share feedback from events based on direct questions to the client and guests
  • Supervise service operations and the service crew to ensure operating procedures are followed
  • Inspect and ensure buffet and table setting is neat and clean
  • Supervise post event clean up and garbage removal

    Managerial Duties

  • Oversee all Banqueting activities and schedule work plans
  • Ensure implementation of Banqueting staff training and measure its impact
  • Conduct regular Banqueting staff meetings to build rapport and motivate
  • Conduct an evaluation of Banqueting staff performance and provide feedback to HR
  • Conduct regular meetings with Client Service Manager and C.E.O to follow up on client satisfaction and service trends
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the Banqueting department
