Job Specification:

Driver is responsible for transporting authorized officers from one place to the preferred destination.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant Senior Driver is responsible for: -

Driving a motor vehicle as authorized

Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems

Maintaining work tickets for vehicles assigned

Ensuring security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road

Ensuring safety of the passengers and Academy’s property therein

Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.

Person Specification:

For appointment to this grade, a Candidate must have the following: -

Minimum KCSE Grade D ‘plain’

Five (5) years driving experience

Valid driving license (Class D)

Proficiency in computer applications will be an added advantage

Valid police clearance

First Aid Certificate

Passed Practical test for Drivers conducted by Automobile Association, NTSA, NYS or KIBHT
