Bakery Senior HR Officer Jobs in Mombasa, Kenya


Our client a well-established bakery with specialty in the baking and making of fine baked products like bread, and cakes is seeking to hire a Senior HR Officer to join their team.

Location:

  • Mombasa, Kenya

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Executing all Human Resources functions e.g Developing HR policies, performance appraisals, leave management and overall supervision of office administration
  • Provide professional leadership in the development and implementation of Human resources plans and budgets, outlining activities to be undertaken, resource requirements, key performance measures and indicators as well as expected outcomes.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling.
  • Providing information and assistance to staff, supervisors and counsel on human resource and work related issues
  • Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
  • Provide staff training and development and facilitation of training sessions
  • Thorough induction, motivation and retention of all company staff
  • Performance management of employees by recognizing and rewarding
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.

    Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR and Higher Diploma in HRM
  • MUST be a member of IHRM
  • At least 4-5 years’ experience in the food manufacturing Industry (MUST)
  • MUST have worked with unionized employees
  • Good knowledge of Industrial relations
  • Good in with processes
  • MUST be currently working in Mombasa
