Our Client is a Pan African gaming technology and development company with a focus on blockchain-based games including Lottery and other types of solutions.
They are seeking an experienced Community Building Manager to join their African development plan.
The ideal candidate will be extremely proactive, organized, adaptive, and reliable, a master of crypto, with an understanding of blockchain and outstanding communication skills, a knack for developing personal relationships, and proven experience building communities.
Previous experience in gaming, e-sports and technology will be critical for the role and an openness to learn new tech will be important for the success of the candidate, especially with our Blockchain focus.
Any prior engagement in the blockchain space will be highly welcome.
Objectives of this Role
Build and execute on the community strategy, roadmap, and success metric.
Develop and implement incentive programs to promote engagement and growth of the community network.
Build, Grow and engage global online communities across different channels to drive positive sentiment towards the organization.
Continuously monitor our social media channels, and engage meaningfully with both our community and the wider crypto community as a representative of the organization.
Help scale and manage a team on projects, community moderators and
managers
Define the community roadmap, including realistic yet ambitious KPIs.
Actively seek out and organize potential marketing opportunities, including collaborations, featured in media outlets, speaking opportunities, or advertising opportunities, and maintain these relationships.
Create strategies for interacting with various blockchain, crypto and communities to grow our following
Skills and Qualifications
The ability to work autonomously and plan, create and develop communities by yourself.
5+ years of experience in community management and building.
Passionate about web3, blockchain and NFTs, crypto.
Strong understanding of the African gaming landscape: E-sports.
Published content in tech or crypto.
Proven experience in Media management funds.
A proven ability to build and manage a large online global community and audience.
