Job Purpose

As the Business Development Manager, you will drive business growth for Azenia by helping us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.

Job Responsibilities

Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.

Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.

Researching prospective accounts in target markets.

Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.

Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients.

Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals.

Training business development staff.

Attending conferences and industry events.

Required Skills

Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.

Proven sales track record.

Experience in customer support is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

Communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to build rapport.

Time management and planning skills.

Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

Required Experience

5+ years of professional experience.

Must demonstrate an understanding of Talent marketplaces.

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
