Assistant Lodge Manager required for a lodge in KZN Salary – Negotiable – based on experience of successful candidate
After Probation period of 3 months - Cost to Company Medical Contribution R500 per month and provident fund of 3,5% Employee Contribution and 5,5% Company contribution
Work Schedule – to be finalized at interview stage
Live-in accommodation; meals and laundry provided; drinks charged at staff price.
Requirements:
Hospitality Diploma or tertiary qualification in Management
Computer Literate – Opera/SEM PER/IQ, Microsoft WORD, EXCEL/Microsoft Office, Email/Outlook
English speaking, fluent in written and spoken English
Zulu (Speak) – certainly a great benefit
Driver’s License valid PDP essential
Valid First Aid Certification
South African Citizen
Physically fit, sober habits and in good health
Personality:

Sense of ownership and pride in work
Well groomed, good personal hygiene & presentable with a bubbly, friendly personality
Strong work ethic, ability to work unsuper vised, work flexible and extended hours

Previous Experience:
Previous work experience of at least 2 years in management roles in related lodge environments.
Management experience in luxury lodge environment – and a diverse and intense property
Focus on Guest experience delivery from kitchen (back of house) & bar and waitron departments (front of house)
Accustomed to reporting systems – daily & weekly; presenting month end packs to Operations & Finance Depts
Understanding of budget control and financial management and planning
HR functions of the lodge
Hands on staff management and staff disciplinary process
Delicately manage community staff and drive the development/upliftment process of employees
Eye for detail excellent front office skills
Experience and ability to train staff
