Job Vacancy: Asset Verification Support Clerk

This position is responsible for verification and reconciliation of all LIT fixed assets across all locations.


Operational Responsibilities:

Physically verify all LIT assets using a blind sheet identifying all the physical assets, highlighting idle, damaged assets using locations provided by the asset accountant

Tag all untagged fixed assets.

Conduct reconciliation of the physical asset with the ledger for all locations

Verified assets – All physically found per each location

Missing assets – All assets in register not found

Found and matched assets – all assets found and matched with asset register

Unmatched assets – Al assets found but not in register

Conduct clean-up based on count results to ensure the records of LIT asset is accurate and complete.

Identify any idle assets within the business and highlight them in a report for management action etc.

Assist the Asset accountant in Maintenance of updated fixed asset register

Monitor and document current asset transfers in place across the company to and advise the asset accountant

Assist the Asset accountant in validating asset register

Generate report summarizing issues encountered and give recommendations of the entire asset exercise


Work Experience:

One (1) year of relevant work experience

Degree in Business related field from a recognised institution

IT skills will be added advantage
