Ashinaga Program Coordinator Jobs in Uganda; The Program Coordinator will lead all Care Program-related duties, managing and directing a small team to deliver exceptional MHPSS to our beneficiaries. This role involves program coordination, administration, strategic planning, reporting, and representation. The successful candidate will ensure the Care Program meets its objectives and aligns with the broader goals of Ashinaga Uganda.


Key Responsibilities

1. Program Coordination (50%)

  • Design and implement engaging curricula for youth beneficiaries.

  • Develop and manage the program's annual schedules.

  • Coordinate with interns and volunteers to optimize service delivery.

  • Provide direct support to all registered beneficiaries.

  • Collaborate with guardians and other stakeholders involved in programming.

  • Create and analyse youth-friendly surveys to assess program impact.

  • Manage program-related data to report and present globally.

    2. Administration (30%)

  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all Care Program-related administrative tasks, such as catering services, transportation, and communication with stakeholders.

    3. Strategy(15%)

  • Collaborate with the Co-Director of Rainbow House and the Care Program team to address current and future organizational needs.

  • Ensure alignment of services with organizational goals and existing frameworks.

  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery for beneficiaries.

    4. Reporting and Representation (5%)

  • Prepare occasional reports for internal and external
    stakeholders.

  • Represent the Care Program team in organizational and external meetings as required.

    Educational and Experience Requirements

    Essentials:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences (Psychosocial Development, Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work and Social Administration).

  • Experience in program coordination, preferably in MHPSS or educational setting.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Luganda.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

    Desirables:

  • Previous experiences in Child Protection.

  • A master’s degree in the above-mentioned degrees.
