General Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Personnel Officer performs administrative functions and provides support to the training and development for employees and the recruiting, screening, and hiring of new staff in accordance with Department policies.
The employee reports to a higher level officer.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Recruit, orient train, and develop employees of the company,
Manage and handle all employee matters in a company,
Bridge between management and staff and help both party communicate with each other,
make sure that staff get paid correctly and on time,
administer employee pensions and benefits,
approve job descriptions and advertisements,
look after the health, safety and welfare of all employees,
organize staff training sessions and activities,
monitor staff performance and attendance,
advise line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer's own employment policies and procedures,
ensure candidates have the right to work at the organization,
Negotiate salaries, contracts, working conditions or redundancy packages with staff and representatives.
Consult with senior management, formulate company policies and implement them,
Inform employees, if there are, policy changes in the company,
Handle complaints made by the employees in an impartial manner,
Design programs and events that will boost employee morale and in turn
increase productivity,
Keep records of all the personnel,
Manage employees in their departments and report all the major happenings in the company to the management,
Look into all the legal matters of the company,
Oversee all kind terminations of employees, etc.
Job Requirements
Qualification
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Personnel Management, Human Resource Management or closely related fields.
Work Experience
Minimum of 10 Years relevant work experience in human resources management.
Required knowledge and Competence
Advanced skill in computer, driving license, good command on English language, report writing and presentation skill is mandatory.
Knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, rules and regulations;
Knowledge of the federal laws and regulations relating to human resources management;
Knowledge of recruitment sources and the availability of candidates;
Ability to prepare concise, accurate written and oral reports on analytical findings and status reports;
Ability to work under strict deadlines;
Ability to cooperate and collaborate with others and exercise strong interpersonal skills.
