Job Task / Summary of the Position

The incumbent will assist the QMS Lead in the implementation of QMS program across all supported facilities under the RELIANCE project.

Assist in the development and review of quality documents, audit/assessment tools, plan QMS audits/mentorships, and ensure that audits are conducted according to schedule.

Job Description

The incumbent will support the implementation of functional Laboratory Quality Management System (LQMS) across all Reliance Laboratory networks.

Maintain the Central Document Master list of relevant documents and tools – generic SOPs, manuals, guidelines and all Laboratory related documents and records.

S/he will design systems for the continual monitoring of the selected Quality indicators to monitor the impact of LQMS in the reliability of laboratory results.

Support the conduct of internal audits, investigation of non-conformities and monitoring of the implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive action across the network of supported Laboratories

Support the central level and facility specific trainings on ISO 15189 based Quality Management System

Work with the supervisor to ensure development, implementation and maintenance of Quality indicator dashboard for all laboratory at different level of QMS implementation

in the
Reliance laboratory networks.

Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, be registered with Medical Laboratory Science council of Nigeria (MLSCN)

Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ professional experience in the implementation of Laboratory Quality Management System

High level of proficiency in relevant computer applications, particularly MS Word, MS Excel and Powerpoint

Excellent interpersonal, management, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly

Ability to work alone and as part of the team

Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, negotiate and meet deadlines

Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who can think and act self-sufficiently.
