3. Anti-Doping Agency Senior Legal Officer Jobs in Kenya

Grade Adak 6

Salaries Scale: 86,700 - 120,000

Duties and Responsibilities

preparing and reviewing legal documents/instruments;

preparing legal opinions and preparing legal briefs;

drafting legal documents, leases and contracts;

undertaking research on specific legal areas;

identifying issues and areas for legal policy formulation and review;

ensuring compliance with the policy, legal requirements and provisions in all the undertakings of the Agency;

advising the Agency on all legal matter.; and

presenting anti-doping cases at the Sports Disputes Tribunal on behalf of the CEO.

Requirements for Appointment

have served in a comparable position for a minimum period of four (4) years;

have Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution;

have a valid Practicing Certificate from Law Society of Kenya;

be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;

have Diploma in Law from the Council of Legal Education;

excellent communication skills ; and

have Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution.

Salaries Scale: 70,350-96,600

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer.

configuring and maintaining Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;

carrying out systems analysis, design and programme specifications in liaison with users;

drawing up hardware specifications for Information Communication Technology equipment;

analyzing, designing, coding, testing, implementing computer programs;

maintaining a high degree of user service for all support queries and adhere to all ICT service management principles;

providing technical ICT support to users;

designing, setting-up and configuring ICT systems and network systems;

developing, installing and testing ICT systems, networks and upgrades;

resolving and restoring operational issues and ICT services;

maintaining primary and disaster recovery data centers;

carrying out work and changes to the ICT infrastructure components;

administering and maintaining LAN & WAN;

following up with vendors and service providers on warranty issues; and

verifying, validating and certification of Information Communication Technology equipment.

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelors in any of the following disciplines:- Computer Science; Information Science;
Information Technology; Business Information Technology or equivalent qualification from recognized institution; and

Accreditation in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE); Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) or any other equivalent qualification from recognized Institution.
