Job Description

  • As a Pit Surveyor you will ensure the effective survey and evaluation service to support the mine performance.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating survey and evaluation service

  • Maintaining legal compliance survey

  • Preparing mine plans (Survey)

  • Monthly Survey measurements and production reports

  • This role is in Discovery & Geosciences department at a band 6 level reporting to the Chief Surveyor.

    Qualifications

  • Mine Surveyors Certificate of Competency
    BTech, Graduate Degree in Engineering, National Higher Diploma in Mine Surveying would be advantageous

    Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in mine surveying

    Additional Information

  • Computer Literate

  • Experience with Drone Pilots and Deswick - advantageous

  • Code 08 driver’s license
