AMSOL Manager – Internal Audit Jobs in KenyaResponsibilitiesPlanning and Implementation of Internal Controls:Develop a comprehensive risk based audit plan covering the Authority’s Audit Universe which includes review of internal controls, assurance on governance process, risk management process, regulatory compliance, reliability of financial and management reports and information system audits.
Routinely review the Internal Audit, Board Audit Committee Charters for their approval and monitor their implementation.
Development and implementation of the annual audit plan through execution of financial, compliance reviews, value for money and performance audit reviews of various Divisions of the Authority and ensure the correct audit procedures are followed.
Internal Audit Management:
Monitor Internal Auditors to ensure that they maintain engagement documentation for recording engagement objectives, activities, work done and conclusions reached in line with quality requirements specified by the Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Auditing issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Report the results of Audit Findings to Line Management, Director General and Board Audit Committee as required.
Serve as the Secretary to the Board Audit Committee.
Advise Senior Management and Director General on new developments that affect controls and provide valuable recommendations and solutions in a proactive manner.
Serve as the Secretary to the Corruption Prevention Committee of the Authority.
Coordinate External Audits – both statutory by KENAO or other Auditors, covering Financial and System Audits.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or accounting or business related field.
A Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting or Business related field is an added advantage.
Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) and/or ACCA.
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/ or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) will be an added advantage
Be a member of a professional body:
Experience in supervising and leading teams of accounting professionals

AMSOL Manager, LPG Jobs in Kenya
Reporting to the General Manager, Downstream Operations, the ideal candidate will take overall charge of growing and managing the LPG business.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing strategies for growing the LPG business;
Planning and implementing sales, customer retention and development strategies;
Identifying high potential outlets and other business development opportunities;
Overseeing the process of carrying out market research, gathering market intelligence and customer surveys;
Ensuring compliance to SHEQ standards and compliance to ISO procedures related to LPG section;
Preparing reports on LPG business including sales volumes, margins and regional analysis; and
Mentoring and Coaching staff;
Preparing and monitoring the departmental budget;
Qualifications
Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management or any other related field;
Bachelors’ degree in Commerce, Business Administration or other relevant field;
Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage ;
At least 10 years relevant experience in sales, 5 of which must be at managerial level.
Experience in logistics
Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) will be an added advantage
Proven intellectual leadership in managing people, operations and financial resources;
Proven ability to think strategically and design long term plans;
Strong organisational skills;
Superior Communication skills both written and oral;

Reporting to the General Manager, Downstream Operations, the ideal candidate will take overall charge of planning, developing and implementation of efficient engineering services to effectively support corporate initiatives.
Responsibilities
Carrying out strategic reviews and aligning business plans in order to translate the company strategy into medium and short term implementation plans and objectives;
Approving Bill of Quantities (BQ) for tendering purposes for works;
Providing leadership and ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources in the department;
Designing and implementing maintenance strategies;
Ensuring that the business gets optimal value for services offered by third parties;
Ensuring that all projects are carried out within the given timelines and in accordance with the Terms of Reference/Bill of Quantities;
Ensuring legal compliance in all operational activities and adherence to the company’s policies and standards;
Employing adequate maintenance and repair programs to optimize assets/facilities availability and productivity across the Organization;
Providing projects engineering support for new facilities and upgrades;
Overseeing and supervising the administration of all maintenance contracts;
Mentoring and Coaching staff;

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK);
At least 10 years’ experience in engineering, 5 years of which must be at management level;
Intellectual leadership in managing people, operations and financial resources;
Ability to think strategically and design long term plans;
