ResponsibilitiesContacting individuals and business customers for payment within agreed time lines
Ensure that all payment due from debtors accounts are collected on time and in a professional manner
Ensure that debts are settled in timely manner
Respond promptly to both client and internal enquiries
As per AFD Credit control policy
Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
Provide accurate advice on billing queries Maintain customer records and database creation
Assist in maintaining accurate records on follow up activity
Preparing invoices(GOP and Evacuation Pro-forma received from emergency) within 24 hours of being registered/Received in finance.
Preparation and dispatch within 24 hours
Petty cash handling and enforcement of petty cash policy
Plan,organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
In agreement with the line manager,establish and maintain filing systems as appropriate
Contribute to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance Option) with at least CPA Part II or its equivalent.
2 years’ consecutive work experience in a busy office with preferably 1 years’ experience in debt collection.
Experience in Credit Control will be an added advantage.
Sound ICT knowledge especially in the MS Office Suite and accounting packages.

Amref Health Africa Diagnostics Lead Jobs in Kenya
Responsibilities
Responsible for the development,implementation and maintenance of a quality management database to include analyser logs, training logs and records of incidents and complaints.
Responsible for the development,implementation and maintenance of a document control system for all laboratory standard operating policies and procedures.
Responsible for the development,implementation and maintenance of a training database to include records of staff training and competencies.
Develop and produce regular reports for laboratory management meetings
and also on an ad hoc basis when requested.
Ensure integrity and accuracy of laboratory databases,developing and adapting as necessary.
Provide leadership in the laboratory for the Datix system.
Point of contact and liaison with accrediting organisations,co-ordinating inspections and responding to non-compliances and deficiencies.
Liaise with laboratory users, to consider their needs and to ensure that the service is developed collaboratively
Communicate changes in legislation,recommended working practices and best practice from the,government,accrediting,inspection and professional bodies.
Deal with complaints from the users of the laboratory,both verbal and written.
Negotiate for resources ensure that quality standards are maintained despite competition for resources.
Present regular reports to AEL Management, other laboratory staff and also
to the users of the laboratory service.
Represent the laboratory in relevant meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree,preferably in microbiology, medical technology, or health sciences. Master's degree in health administration/business administration preferred.
Minimum five(5)years’experience in progressively responsible positions in laboratory, including two years supervisory experience.
Experience in Strategy development
Knowledge of principles and techniques of clinical laboratory testing procedures/practices and of microbiology,including medical mycology; mycobacteriology; enteric,sexually transmitted and environmental bacteriology, parasitology and virology.
Knowledge of
medical terminology,communicable diseases, and environmental health issues.
Knowledge of laboratory regulations, including quality control of media and reagents, laboratory safety, laboratory documentation requirements, sterilization requirements,and laboratory equipment.
Knowledge of applicable microbiological testing techniques, including tests for AIDS, rubella,hepatitis,and syphilis.
Knowledge of planning,budgeting,quality control,customer service,and employee supervision,
development and training.
Knowledge of safety policies, procedures and practices as they relate to laboratory operations.
Fluency is French an added advantage

Amref Health Africa Chief of Party Jobs in Kenya
Responsibilities
Provide targeted technical assistance to projects through field visits and other methods
to foster continuous improvement in quality& both programmatic and financial
performance (will spend 50% of time in field based technical assistance).
Ensure projects are aligned with and contribute to Amref Business Plan and National
strategies, policies, operational guidelines, and protocols, as applicable.
Quality assure all operational plans for projects to ensure they are realistic.
Identify underperforming individuals and work with HR manager to ensure they are put
on performance improvement plans and supported.
Carrying out periodic and annual performance appraisals and provide on-going
performance monitoring and feedback.
Facilitate timely procurement of goods and services for projects.
Ensure projects being supervised submit annual and quarterly procurement plans in
accordance with budgets and donor/Amref procurement rules and regulations
Review operational budgets in conjunction with project teams, programme accountant,
and the Finance Manager to ensure value for money.
Providing support to project teams in reviewing operations financial performance against
set targets, and implementation of remedial actions.
Budget monitoring to ensure expenditure in line with set budgets and in accordance
with donor and Amref financial rules and regulations
Qualifications
At least a Master’s Degree in Health, Social Services, Management, Business
Administration or related field.
At least ten years’ experience in managing complex public health programs or programs
of similar scope and size.
At least ten years of demonstrated technical experience as senior staff in at least two of
the following areas: maternal, newborn and child health; family planning/reproductive
health; nutrition; quality improvement/quality assurance; health systems strengthening;
M&E; and operations research.
At least seven years’ experience in development, managing, overseeing, or evaluating
public health programs in Africa of similar size and complexity.
At least seven years’ experience in program management and administration, financial
management, award contractual compliance, sub award management, and tracking
project performance and costs via specific funding streams.
