Essential Function

Ensure that the customer‘s file contains the loan documents described under the Credit File Documentation Checklist ;

Hold physical keys or other combination code of safe custody/vault/as required;

Maintain the appropriate filing and documentation of the loan file and keep custody of same;

Undertake credit file pruning on a regular basis to assist proper file storage requirements and easy access to the current information;

Handle transfer of all loan files and security documents within the bank, and other banks;

Prepare any credit reports requested by the supervisor;

Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering

(AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers;

Review daily excesses/balances reports per customer, daily large transactions reports and report suspicious transactions in line with KYC /AML guidelines;

With support from CRM, make decisions on paying and un paying of customer cheques /instructions;

Job Requirements
Qualification

Bachelor degree in business administration, Banking and finance, management or related fields.

Experience
3 years of relevant experience in the banking industry, of which at least 1 year as Junior Customer Relationship Officer
