We are looking for mission-driven, passionate entrepreneurs to run and manage the ALX Central team to sustain the strong start we have established in the program’s pilot run, and expand this to different sites.


As a member of the founding team, you will be the entrepreneur launching the ALX Hub in your city - and then growing it to its full potential. You will build a team and relationships with a diverse set of partners, establish a local brand, and develop a community of leaders and entrepreneurs to establish ALX as the catalyst for top talent in your city. You will have full P&L responsibility for your city and will be expected to grow operations from $0 to $10 - $15m in revenues within 5 years.

Responsibilities

  • Build long-term partnerships with leading companies, SMEs and other organisations who join ALX’s leadership development and talent platform
  • Hold full responsibility for driving uptake of ALX’s flagship leadership development programs including marketing, prospecting and closing
    deals for both existing and new partners
  • Deepen established partnerships beyond the initial collaboration by understanding their needs and developing solutions based on our product portfolio and value proposition
  • Deliver excellent customer experience to our partners turning them into our strongest ambassadors and create powerful experiences through your interactions that make people understand the uniqueness of ALX
  • Identify and close Employer Agreements for placing ALX Young Leaders into internship and job opportunities
  • Support a team of incredibly passionate, talented and diverse people and champion our unique culture
  • Build systems and processes that contribute to making ALX Hubs scalable and cost-efficient; support the development of playbooks and continuous improvement cycles to scale ALX

    Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in B2B sales, working for an early-stage startup, consulting, or operations management
  • Experience in business development with SME and Multinationals with proven track record of closing competitive deals within professional services
  • A competitive spirit that is excited to prospect and close deals
  • Experience in identifying opportunities and building long-term strategic relationships
  • Stellar networking skills and the ability to build and drive a complex pipeline
  • An eye for great talent and the ability to unlock its potential
