Job Description

ALTA Computec PLC which plays paramount roles in the provision of ICT solutions and distribution of brand hardware at a larger scale in Ethiopia for the past many years currently looks for competent, energetic and qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions.

Summary of the job:

The incumbent is responsible to plan, and organize the infrastructure solution projects under his supervision; prepares solutions write up, designing, configuring and testing; follows up project implementation, deploying and commissioning; conducting presales activities including presentation, tender processing and follow up.

Shall conduct the preparation of technical proposal like: solutions write ups, high level & low level design, compliance sheet and implementation plan for bid response.

Makes close supervision and actively participate in designing, implementation, support, configuration, installation, and training.

Actively participates in tender process and conducts follow up of the tender operation from document preparation through opening of the tender to implementation.

Collects customer feedback and analyze it with recommendation, conducts presales activities and supports customers as per their need and request.

Ensures the proper implementation of delivered and

deployed solutions as per the given technical proposal and signed contract.

Shall periodically (weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual) prepare report and submit to his superior.

Job Requirements

Qualification BSC Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering-communication stream, or related discipline.

Experience Minimum 6 (Six) years hands-on experiences in ICT infrastructure Solution in similar business set up Companies. Specifically, experience as Presales, Solution Design & Implementation on Enterprise Servers, Storage, VMware, Linux & Microsoft Operating System, etc. is a must.

Having the following Industrial certification will have an added advantage:

CISCO Products and solutions, DELLEMC Products and Solutions, Oracle Products and solutions, Microsoft Products and solutions, Data Center, etc
