AIDS Healthcare Foundation Medical Officer Incharge- Soroti Clinic Vacancies in Uganda

Leadership and Management
Builds and maintains partnerships with key stakeholders in AIDS and medical service delivery
Attends or delegates staff to partnership meetings and provides feedback to management through the national medical director
Provides supervision and mentorship of medical providers and evaluates staff performance
Ensures adherence to AHF financial guidelines as well as financial discipline and integrity of the center
Ensures proper management and maintenance of logistics, supplies, equipment and infrastructure of the center
Clinical care
Constitutes and oversees activities of a clinical team and ensures that the team meets regularly
Ensures that staff adhere to and operate according to set national and international standards
Ensures provision of high quality care and service delivery at the center
Responsible for patient chart review and peer review following the guidelines established by the Policies and Procedures Committee
Provides clinical care in conjunction with other team members
Ensuring effective implementation of static and outreach services
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (M.D) related experience and /or training. Prior experience treating HIV positive patients.
Minimum of at least 3-5 years experience providing clinical care
Experience in managing a team and building capacity in resource-limited settings.
Ability to work in a public sector environment to accomplish goals and favorably influence decision making processes in a diplomatic and collaborative manner
Familiarity with current HIV&AIDS and TB management practices, and protocols

AIDS Healthcare Foundation Driver - Soroti Clinic Vacancies in Uganda
Responsibilities:
Driving duties
Drive staff to and from their destinations on time and ensure safety of the passenger and the vehicle at all times
Liaise with the Operations Officer for assignment and coordination of driving duties
for each day
Monitor fuel usage regularly to ensure availability of fuel for the car when required
Mail delivery
Liaise with the Operations Officer to deliver mails to required destinations.
Ensure that mail delivery is completed with signature of the recipient on the designated mail delivery books
Documentation
Complete the daily travel log book and ensure that all information required is properly recorded and legible.
Vehicle Maintenance
Liaise with the operations Officer to ensure that vehicle routine maintenance service is carried out promptly and the vehicle is kept clean and presentable
Ensure that all legal requirements for the vehicle are up to date
Record all vehicle repairs done (no matter how small) in the log book
Ensure that the vehicle is securely parked while on and off duty
Occasional duties
Assist with set up for workshops and loading up after workshops or testing
Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Key Result Areas
Efficient vehicle management serving all AHF activities
Good customer care of passengers
Safe and confidential delivery of messages and documents
Up to date documentation of all errands in the logbook
Delighted in performing assigned duties
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Five years driving experience, with a reputable organization
Possession of ordinary level certificate, with a valid driving permit
Phyisical Demands:
This job requires a physically fit person with ability to see clearly within a distance of 35 meters;
Ability to work long hours while sitting with some moderate noise and vibration level essential to deliver key functions.
