Job DescriptionCompany profileAhadukes Food Product S.C. is a manufacturing company primarily engaged in food products, Biscuits and Pasta in Bishoftu town of Oromia state. It is a joint investment between Ahadu P.L.C & UK based Vasari investment Group. We hence, invite qualified applicants for the following vacant position.
Role purpose General
To perform routine or preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical parts of machineries and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on mechanical parts of machinery and equipment
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical parts of machines and equipment.
Assists Mechanical Maintenance supervisor in establishing schedules and methods for providing preventive maintenance and repair services.
Overhauling equipment parts in the maintenance shop.
Maintains safety, quality and housekeeping in side mechanical workshop and job areas as well.
Operates machines and other equipment to observe operation and diagnose malfunctions or to test repaired equipment.
Lead/ coach/train all team members
Orders tools and machinery inventory parts.
Tracking and recording work completed using a computer.
Maintains and secures work tools.
Cleans and maintains work area.
Completes all tasks accurately & punctually so that the plant will function safely & efficiently.
Provides on-the-job training to new employees.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualification
BSc degree in mechanical or industrial
or manufacturing Engineering /College Diploma in General Mechanics
/TVET 10+3/ or Level IV diploma in General Mechanics
Experience
A minimum of 6 years /4 years in or of related experience in maintenance activity in an industrial maintenance environment preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
Required Competences, Knowledge, Skills, Attitude & Attributes:
Knowledge of computer application.
Understanding blueprint and estimating needs.
Team working.
Physically fit.
Reliable and available to work rotating 8 hour shifts (including weekends).
Able to work in a safe manner and follow personal hygiene rules.
Able to Determine causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Knowledge of installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
