Role Purpose GeneralTo operate the packaging Machine properly to pack products in accordance with specified standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures that packaging machine is properly set-up for operation with the product and pack size in consideration.
Ensures that all packs leaving the packing machine are properly sealed and they are of the right weight.
Makes all the changes and adjustments required on the setting-up of the packaging machine as and when necessary - product and pack dimensions change.
Closely follows up the work of sub-ordinates to ensure they are effectively and efficiently performing their assignments.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment by keeping the cleanness of working area and machine.
Undertakes the necessary pre-start inspections on the machine for ensuring their proper operation and avoidance of product quality and equipment safety problems.
Observes the working conditions of each machine closely and report any sign of abnormalities that may be noticed on them to your immediate supervisor.
Carries out routine maintenance works the packaging machine in cooperation with the maintenances team.
Keeps record of received packaging materials and ingredients for cream preparation and report on the consumption of these materials.
Makes proper inventory of products packed in his/her shift and transfer the same to the finished
product store by filling in transfer voucher and setting signature of the store man proving receipt of the product.
Prepares shift packaging report which shall include production, quality and maintenance aspects of the section.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Qualification
TVET /10+2/ or Level III certificate in Biscuit, Pasta & Noodle Manufacturing/ Production Technology/ Manufacturing/ General Mechanics or other relevant field of study
Experience
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a Food Manufacturing Industry.
Required Competences, Knowledge, Skills, Attitude & Attributes:
Team working.
Concentration.
Detail oriented.
Some knowledge of machines and tools.
Computer skill.
Speed.
Physically active and strong.
