Job Title: Sales and Marketing Administrator – Agribusiness
Reporting to: CEO
Location: Nairobi
Contract period: 2 years
Salary: 40k
Our client is a farming solutions company providing greenhouse construction and management services.
They seek to recruit a vibrant sales and marketing administrator to join their young and energetic team and help the company achieve their end goals.
Job Summary: The candidate will supervise field sales agents, tracking our sales outreach and impact on the digital social space by using Google Analytics.
He/she will also report and document on performance from the Sales and Marketing department to the management team. The contract is 2 years’ with 3 months’ probation period
Roles Formulate a strategic and executable plan of pushing our products through online platforms and on the ground through sales agents
Create creative content and track traffic on all our social media platforms as well respond to customers’ queries on these platforms
Analyse and report on product demand on all online platforms through google analytics
Continually liaise with management on review of prices and discounts
Source, sort and populate a database of potential clients who are likely to convert from all our sources of acquisition
Reporting weekly and monthly results from the sales strategies, to the management team
Handle all walk-in clients and give real time walking updates to the team
Analysing and reporting feedback from customer satisfaction survey as well as feedback
Strategize with sales agents on innovative ways to market our products, services and produce on the ground and develop KPI’s for them
Liaise with the sales agents to analyse the extent of product
penetration into our target market
Market the quality of our produce from Greenhouse+ to targeted consumers to ensure an all year-round demand
Send out Quotations to clients who reach out from all our sources of acquisition
Preparing sales budgets and reports and submit them to the management team to review
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution
Proficiency in the usage of Google Analytics and any other recognized digital sales and marketing tools
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Good spoken Swahili and spoken and written English.
Able to operate effectively and to gain the trust of farmers
