Job DescriptionAgri Service Ethiopia (ASE) is a non-governmental, non-religious and non-profit making Ethiopian Resident Charity organization established in 1969 and is dedicated to poverty reduction and sustainable community development particularly in rural areas of the country.
ASEhas secured financial support from CARE Ethiopia for the project entitled Livelihoods for Resilience Activity project for the communities in Hadiya Zone, SNNPRS. It now seeks to employ qualified persons for the following posts.
I. Job Summary:The purpose of the Innovation Fund Officer Position is to effectively monitor, collect information, compile and document and report all Innovation Fund Award Implementation progresses, lessons and other experiences.
The Innovation Fund Officer monitors data/information quality of grant awards from solicitation application to implementation.
She/he is responsible for Innovation Fund Officer at Agri Service Ethiopia Hadiya Field office in work planning, monitoring, and reporting scheduling.
II. Responsibilities and Tasks: Job Responsibility 1- Expediting and Follow up Solicitation Process
Job
Responsibility 2-Contract Agreement Management
Job Responsibility 3-Learning and documentation
Job Responsibility 4-Reporting
Job Responsibility 5-Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly report to IFA
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
BA/BSc Degree in Economics, Business management, Sociology, Psychology, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 6 Years BSc/BA or 4 Years MSc/MA in related positions
Personal Competency:
NGO experience is advantageous
Able to identify, analyze and solves problems, work in a team environment.
Exposure to the local culture and speaking local language are assets.
Have basic computer skills, good oral and written communication skills and committed to work with rural poor and willing to work under pressure.
