AGRI EXIM Purchase and Store Assistant Jobs in Uganda
Job purpose• Effective management of store operation in receiving, inspection, storage, issuance and transfer of items as per company policy.
• Ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials, by properly organising the items in the store, keeping it clean and in good order.
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
• Initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular store's items whenever the stock level of any item approaches the minimum limit.
• Initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.
• Receive and Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to supervisor for reimbursements and record keeping.
• Issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes)‘ material lists.
• Check the book balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over any discrepancy and make appropriate reports.
EducationDegree or Diploma in procurement and store management, Mechanical engineering.
Experience
4-5 years ‘experience in stores management.
