Aga Khan University Hospital Kampala Senior Faculty Jobs

Responsibilities

The incumbent will primarily be involved in teaching, research and practice in our programmes.

A key focus of this role is contribution to research capacity building among faculty and contribution to the development and approval of programmes to Masters level.

S/he will also be expected to serve in the University’s academic committees and participate in multidisciplinary activities.

In addition, they will be responsible for quality assurance, curriculum development and;

Be actively involved in contributing to the nursing profession nationally, regionally and internationally.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in or related field.

Masters in nursing may be considered

He/she should be currently registered or eligible for registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience of classroom and clinical teaching experience at an institution of higher learning, demonstrate expertise in modern pedagogy and scholarship of learning,

Proven research skills with commitment to research and publication, and ability to mentor junior faculty and build research capacity within the school

Four publications in peer reviewed Journals.

Aga Khan University Hospital Kampala Executive Assistant Jobs

Responsibilities

Organizing College meetings Chaired by the Academic Head

Internal and external communications.

Arrange travel and accommodation.

Reimbursements

Filling and other office related work.

Organize and maintain diaries and making appointments of the academic Head.

Requisition of stock items and stationery

Petty Cash Management

Admin Office and provide any assistance as may be required by the Faculty.

Organizing Activities in the Academic heads office.

Attend to telephone calls, take and convey messages and also maintain constant communication with students on various programmes related matters.

Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the Academic Head

Qualifications

Degree in Secretarial/Office Management

5 years’ experience in a senior secretarial role

Computer literacy is mandatory with experience of applicable software programs

Good interpersonal skills, communication and organizational skills.
