Afya Jijini Small Grants Request For Applications in Kenya
The USAID/Kenya and East Africa Afya Jijini program is designed to strengthen Nairobi City County’s institutional and management capacity to deliver quality healthcare services. Afya Jijini’s strategic goal is to “Improve County-level Institutional Capacity and Management of Health Service Delivery” with the purpose of improving and increasing access and utilization of quality health services through strengthened service delivery and institutional capacity of health systems.
Through the Afya Jijini Small Grants (AJSG) program, which focuses on mobilizing existing community-based networks of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO’s), Community Based Organizations (CBO’s) and Faith Based Organizations (FBO’s) in Nairobi City County, Afya Jijini seeks interested applicants to implement the Afya Jijini Small Grants (AJSG) Program over a period of six months with a possibility of extension. Successful applicants will contribute to specifically achieving the program’s three main sub-purposes:
