Job Description

Structural design and report production with due consideration of relevant codes, concepts and in-house standards

Structural detailing and drawing of structural works

Supporting structural design team in solving structural problems by doing overall conceptual assessment, detail design calculations, detailing and possibly author control supervision of construction execution.

Applying different established and new engineering principles, codes, standards and software manuals as deemed necessary

Following-up detail drafting

Working closely with project leaders for the accomplishment of tasks.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Profile:

BSc. In Civil Engineering with CGPA 3.60

Well versed in the use of MS Office, MS Windows, the internet(for browsing and e-mails), one structural application software and one drafting software

Well versed in the use of building code standards (EN 1990-1998) and/or bridge design manual(like ERA’s Bridge Design Manual)

Knowledge of German language is desirable but not mandatory

Duties and Responsibilities:

Structural modelling, CAD & BIM

Structural design and report production with due consideration of relevant codes, concepts and in-house standards

Structural detailing and drawing of structural works

Supporting structural design team in solving structural problems by doing overall conceptual assessment, detail design calculations, detailing and

possibly author control supervision of construction execution.

Reading, understanding and applying different engineering principles, codes, standards and software manuals as deemed necessary

Following-up detail drafting

Working closely with project leaders for the accomplishment of tasks.
