Job DescriptionStructural design and report production with due consideration of relevant codes, concepts, and in-house standards
Structural detailing and drawing of structural works
Supporting structural design team in solving structural problems by doing overall conceptual assessment, detailed design calculations, detailing, and possibly author control supervision of construction execution.
Applying different established and new engineering principles, codes, standards, and software manuals as deemed necessary
Following-up detail drafting
Working closely with project leaders for the accomplishment of tasks
Job Requirements
Qualification and Profile
MSc. in Structural Engineering from a renowned university.
No structural design experience is required
Deep interest and commitment to learn and work on structural engineering tasks including structural design and detailing.
Handy with use of computer and other IT
Applicants who have finished their coursework and are left with their thesis are welcome to apply.
Knowledge of German language is desirable but not mandatory
Important
Candidates that do not meet the above qualification and profile need not apply.
Duties and Responsibilities
Structural modeling, CAD & BIM
Structural
design and report production with due consideration of relevant codes, concepts, and in-house standards
Structural detailing and drawing of structural works
Supporting structural design team in solving structural problems by doing overall conceptual assessment, detail design calculations, detailing, and possibly author control supervision of construction execution.
Reading, understanding, and applying different engineering principles, codes, standards, and software manuals as deemed necessary
Following-up detail drafting
Working closely with project leaders for the accomplishment of tasks.
