Description

Key Responsibilities

Defining data mapping

Creating a data dictionary for pricing files and integration to external systems

Perform data acquisition from other defined platforms

Designing and delivering of reports

Data analysis, cleaning, and interpreting

Data Validations and checks

Creating and maintaining ETLs

Creating, documenting, and maintaining pricing files

SQL scripting to implement business logic on data (financials calculations)

Provide guidance to team on best practice solutions

Be involved in engagements with the client to best meet all key responsibilities

Identify areas to improve system performance and availability

Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years overall in SQL development (SSRS, SSIS, PBI)

Minimum of 5 years in end to end BI tools

Strong ETL development skills

Advanced T-SQL and SQL scripting experience

Building reports in SSRS & Power BI

Importing and cleansing of the various data sources

Review root cause analysis of issues ensuring implementation of the solution

Strong data analytics skills

Ability to drive advancements in Data Management principles

Educational Requirements

Relevant Degree IT / IS

MS certification advantageous

MS BI certification advantageous

Desired Experience

Good understanding of Finance/Insurance

Strong knowledge of the Ekundu system
