African Wildlife Foundation Graphic Design and Video Intern Jobs in Kenya

Description

AWF is seeking a talented graphic design intern to support the Marketing & Creative team’s portfolio of design projects and initiatives. Working with the team, the Graphic Design and Video Intern will assist in organizing AWF’s photography and video library, design miscellaneous collateral, and more using their talents across mediums and channels. This is a great opportunity for aspiring graphic artists to learn in a team-oriented workplace while contributing meaningfully to the organization.

Responsibilities

Conduct archiving duties in the organization’s photography and video asset libraries: renaming files, adding metadata, uploading to Box/Widen, etc.

Source video and photography to support the Video and Multimedia Production Officer and Graphic Design Officer.

Respond to internal requests assisting in the design of a variety of creative products and document templates.

Assist the Video and Multimedia Production Officer on production shoots.

Additional design, production, and technical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design or relevant field

At least 6 months graphic design experience with a portfolio consisting of a wide range of styles and out of the box creative approaches.

Highly proficient with Adobe CC’s core applications, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Proficient with Adobe Premiere and

Skills in typography, composition and color.

Professional approach to the design process and time management.

Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.

Keen interest or experience in Africa’s wildlife/land/people preferred, but not required.
