Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.

Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive work environment.

Conduct investigations into employee complaints and implement corrective actions.

Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and effective evaluations.

Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.

Implement training programs to support employee development and career growth.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Address employee inquiries related to benefits, attendance, leaves and payroll.

Collaborate with safety officers to promote a safe working environment.

Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making.

Monitor and evaluate HR initiatives for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, onsite mining experience is a plus.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with HR software and tools.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and

conflict resolution abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
