AFEX wishes to recruit competent, innovative and self-driven persons to fill the following positions to be based in South Sudan. The project will run for 6 months with a possibility of extension.
Upon extension, the candidate may be considered for permanent employment.
Human Resources ManagerJob Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for management of the front-line HR Team to deliver effective, efficient and legally compliant recruitment and human resource service across South Sudan which meets the needs of the organization.
Support and assist the Head of Human Resource to maintain, update and deliver the objectives of the Human Resources Strategy.
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:BSc in HR /BA in Human Resource Management
HR Credentials (e.g. Member and Certification from IHRM)
5 years’ experience managing a HR team
A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
Excellent knowledge of current South Sudan employment legislation
Strong IT skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
Strong ethics and reliability
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Strong leadership and human resources management skills

Human Resources Officer
Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, support and develop talent through implementation of policies and SOPs.
Responsible for administrative tasks and contribute by making the company a better place to work.
Help to achieve the HR goals and strategy by working closely with the HR team.
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:]
A diploma or a degree in Human Resources
HR Credentials (e.g. Member and Certification from IHRM)
3 years’ experience working in a HR department
Proven experience as HR Officer, administrator or other HR position.
Knowledge of HR functions (pay and benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
Excellent IT skills
Experience in managing simultaneous recruitment campaigns
Good organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team based, multi-cultural environment
Ability to work in, and adapt, to a rapidly changing environment
