About the Role

AECC is experiencing significant growth in line with the timely changes for students and our university and college partners around the world.

As we expand our global footprint, we’re looking for a dedicated and organized Finance Administrator to provide support to the Finance Team by performing a variety of administrative tasks related to financial record-keeping and processing.

This role will be working remotely and reporting into the Management Accountant based in Melbourne, Australia.

What Does This Opportunity Mean for You

Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including coding and data entry.

Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis.

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.

Maintain accurate financial records and files.

Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.

Process employee expense reports.

Assist with payroll processing.

Respond to internal and external financial inquiries.

Skills and Attributes Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar

1-3 years of experience as a Finance Administrator or similar

Practical experience with any accounting software

Knowledge of Excel and MS Access

Able to quickly learn and adapt to new software and processes.

Solid understanding of

bookkeeping procedures including crediting and debiting appropriate accounts, posting entries to ledger accounts, and reconciling accounts

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
