Job Description

  • Addis Software is a professionally recognized tech company in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia serving clients in Sweden and some other parts of europe.

  • We work together with a Swedish software company called sweetopia to make sure that our customers get the best of our capability.

  • We are looking to hire two employees with at least 1 year of professional experience on two different tech stacks.

  • The second candidate will be a wordpress developer with the ability to develop a theme from the ground up using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and PHP.

    The candidate will have the responsibilities below

  • Customize or edit existing wordpress themes and websites.

  • Assure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

  • Build and design wordpress themes from scratch

  • Integrate necessary plugins with the wordpress site.

  • Use Git for version control and GitLab as a code repository.

  • Test new features well locally as well as on a staging server.

    Job Requirements

  • Tools and technologies you need to be familiar with include

  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • PHP

  • Bootstrap 4

  • Wordpress

  • GIT plus GitLab

    Additional skills that will be good to have include

  • SASS

  • JQuery
