ADAK Driver Jobs in Kenya


The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) was established by The Government of Kenya through the Anti-Doping Act No. 5 of 2016, with its powers vested in a Board, headed by a Chairman.

The key mandate of the Agency is to protect athletes’ fundamental rights to participate in doping-free sport and thus promoting good health, fairness and equality for athletes in Kenya


Responsibilities


  • Driving a motor vehicle as authorized for official duty and assignments;
  • Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle's cooling, oil, tyre pressure, electrical and brake systems;
  • Maintaining records of service and accessories;
  • Detecting and reporting of malfunctioning of vehicle systems;
  • Maintaining of work tickets for vehicles assigned;
  • Reporting traffic incidents or accidents;
  • Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
  • Ensuring safety of the passengers and/or goods therein; and
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.


    Requirements


  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D (plain) or equivalent qualification;
  • A current driving license free from current endorsements and valid for all of the classes of vehicles, which the driver is required to drive;
  • Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week obtained at St John Ambulance, or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution;
  • Passed Suitability Test for Driver Grade III;
  • Passed Occupational Test Grade III;
  • Passed Practical Test for Drivers conducted by Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or National Transport and Safety Authority or National Youth Service;
  • A valid Certificate of Good
    Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;
  • Have minimum period of three (3) years driving experience; and
  • A Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.

    Candidates interested in the above positions are expected to fulfill the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya, 2010. They must obtain and submit with their application copies of up-to-date clearance certificates from the following organizations:

  • Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
  • Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Good Conduct)
  • Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)


    Those fulfilling the requirements of the positions should submit their applications quoting the vacancy and Vacancy No. on the envelope.
