We are looking for:

[Context: Sekota base is relatively remote from Addis Abeba (1 hour flight + 4-5 hours drive) ; the base has some 50 staffs working on multisectoral programming (resilience building through FSL, WASH, health / nutrition and MHCP). Security situation in Sekota stable though the country is still under emergency state (the area of concern was not affected by 2016 manifestations and events).

Country: ETHIOPIA – Sekota Waghimra

Length of contract: 5 months, starting from 01/09/2017**

The Position: Under the direct supervision of the Field Coordinator, you main objective will be to conduct Nutrition Causal Analysis in Waghimra. More precisely, you will in charge to:

Conduct an analysis of the nutritional causes following the ACF – Link NCA guidelines

Team Management

Communicate about the NCA

Represent and liaise with the authorities, the UN, NGOs and local partners

Contribute to ACF capitalization and contribute to the improvement of the methodology

The Applicant:** You hold a Master’s degree in a field relevant to ACF expertize (WASH, FSL, nutrition / health, MHCP) or Social Sciences/ project management, with at least 5 years’ experience in developing countries. Experience of Ethiopia a plus.

You proved experience in qualitative and quantitative survey and if possible quantitative with team management experience. An experience in diagnostic or need assessment and programing would be also appreciated.

A multi sectoral understanding of malnutrition is required with a good capacity of coordination with several stakeholders. You are able to work and live in isolated setting for a few weeks.

You have excellent oral and written capacities in English.

Status:

Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 depending on relevant experience

Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective accommodation and medical insurance

25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year.
