Job Description

Drives forward the Country Programme knowledge and tools to deliver ways to comply with donor rules and regulations.

Provides expert advice, guidance and quality assurance on donor compliance for pre and post award of strategic grants.. Develops proposal and CN with the support of programme team.

Leads on and keeps up-to -date contract management system and ensure effective project monitoring.

Maintain relationship with donors and affiliates.

Provide the necessary support and assists in fundraising events

Facilitates the vital activities in the project start-up phase such as MOU signing b/n AAE & FAs, AAE & Partners, Project internalization and launching Worksop, etc;

Involves and supportsin project planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of donor funded projects,

Together with Implementing Units/Departments, follow up and monitor effective implementation of donor fund projects;

Facilitates Implementing Units mainly Programme & Finance Department, to submit periodical reports for an on-going donor funded projects,

Establish and or effectively utilize contract management system to input, update and produce reports for different purposes.

Serve as a key liaison person for any donor communication on contractual matters;

Job Requirements

MA, MSc /BA in Development Studies, Economics and Management/ OR other related disciplines.

6 or 8 years of relevant experience for MA,/MSc or BA holders respectively

Donor/NGO experience in project design and planning, management and evaluation and donor contract management.

Excellent proposal and CN writing skill

Ability to work under pressure and in a team setting
