Action Africa Help - International Regional HR Manager, Nairobi Jobs in Kenya

Action Africa Help International (AAH-I) is recruiting a Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM).

The RHRM will provide strategic leadership to the HR function in a manner that ensures there is high staff engagement and support; implementation of quality performance and reward systems for staff and talent management that facilitates the achievement of organisational objectives.

S/he will apply rigorous project management techniques to planning and implementing cross-functional HR initiatives that support current and future business strategies.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

A first degree in HR Management, Business Administration or Social Sciences.

A Diploma in HR Management.

5 - 7 years’ experience in similar or a higher position.

Experience of personnel systems development.

Senior leadership experience in strategic human resource management

Expected Outcomes

HR strategy developed and implemented in alignment to corporate strategy.

HR management policies and procedures developed and implemented.

Performance management is built into the culture of the organization and run according to the stipulated timelines.

Key staff/positions identified and succession plans developed and maintained for supervisor and management positions.

Workforce plans for existing and new projects developed and gaps addressed.

Managers and supervisors are made aware of the legal provisions guiding

employment relations, disciplinary issues closed first time right with minimal or no risk.

The AAH-I workforce is strengthened through coaching and planned capacity building interventions.

Total reward is implemented across all countries.

Countries operating within legislation in HR practice.

HR reports delivered within agreed times and corrective actions implemented.
