Action Africa Help - International HR and Admin Assistant Jobs in Uganda

Job Summary:
  • Under the direct supervision of the HR & Administration Coordinator, the HR/Admin Assistant will provide key support in all HR and administration functions and the day to day running of the AAH Uganda and will assist in the human resources/ admin activities including but not limited to recruitment and orientation, personnel files, training, staff benefits and medical insurance.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Sound knowledge of Uganda Labour laws.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar position.
  • Previous experience working with an international NGO in a cross-cultural setting, preferably in the HR sector.
  • Strong experience in human resource support role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, working with different groups, partners and nationalities.
  • Ability to multitask and cope with competing demands under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to cope with high workload and stress and identify priority activities and assignments, and adjust priorities as required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships in a multi-ethnic, multicultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
    High level of confidentiality.
  • A good command of both written and spoken English.
  • Computer literate with ability to use Microsoft Office.
