Job Title: Accounts Officer

Job Summary:
Maintain and provide various reports and summaries, liaising with Restaurant Manager to ensure reporting variances, prepare various reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends, proposes and implementing process improvement for areas of responsibility and complete monthly closing

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Preparing asset, liability and capital account entries by analyzing account information
  • Documentation of financial transaction by updating account data
  • Recommending financial actions and summarizing the current financial status
  • Collecting data, preparing balance sheet, and profit and loss statement
  • Handling financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Coordinating financial issues by collecting and analyzing accounting data
  • Develops and maintains timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Prepares all supporting information for the statutory audits and liaise with other departments
  • Ensuring accounting procedures are followed promptly, and up to date financial information is uploaded onto the accounting system.
  • Develops and maintains financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
  • Documents and maintains complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
  • Ensures that all statutory requirements of the organization are met
  • Preparing payment by verifying documentation and requesting disbursement


    Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor degree / Diploma accounting / finance or relatable field
  • CPA 2
  • Should possess 4 years of experience in restaurant accounting.
  • Extensive knowledge about the data entry management
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with emphasis on Excel
  • QuickBooks proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to contribute to a strong dynamic team and work well with others
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and goals-driven environment
