    Our client is a well-established company engaging in the Food and Beverage Industry.

    They seek to hire a competent Accounts Assistant to provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing relevant and timely reports

    Responsibilities

  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
    CPA (K) or its equivalent will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge on Corporate Finance
  • Adequate Reporting Skills
  • Ability to develop Report formats for both Financial & Research Results
  • Conversant with Kenya Government Tax policies
    High level of Integrity & Confidentiality
