Field Program Manager

The Marketing Manager will drive our client-centeredness marketing approach, manage the day-to-day marketing events and activities, and drive the long term marketing strategy for the company.

Position Overview: Access Afya’s commitment to the continuum of care in informal communities has resulted in the creation of field based programs and activities.

These maybe through the Healthy Schools Program, Healthy Factories Program, and the implementation of Pop-up clinics.

The Field Programs Manager is responsible for:

1. Managing Healthy School Program strategy development, planning, implementation and reporting duties. In this role, the Manager will be responsible for managing all stakeholder relationships, managing budgets and necessary financials, and constantly monitoring the quality of service provided. He/ She will also build pipelines and partnership opportunities for growth and expansion of the program

2. Contributing to the development of Healthy Factories Program strategy and planning, but solely responsible for the implementation of all events/activities. As part of this, the Manager will work with the Business Initiation Manager to engage existing contracted factories, and identify new ways of using field activities to engage with new factories

3. Overseeing the planning and smooth implementation of Pop-up clinics (these may be run by the marketing department, Healthy Schools or Healthy Factories)

Key Responsibilities and tasks:
R1: Managing Healthy School Program
  • Oversight over day-to-day activities
  • Managing stakeholder relationships
  • Managing the Budget for HSP
  • Manage quality of service
  • Lead strategy development, planning and achievement of goals

    R2:Managing Quality of Service
  • Managing Club delivery
  • Managing marketing activities for HSP
  • Managing Training quality
  • Monitoring quality of service provided to contracted factories

    R3:Building partnerships arm of HSP
  • Develop partnerships strategy
  • Manage partnerships strategy
  • Maintain compelling proposals

    R4: Lead implementation
    of activities with Healthy Factories Program
  • Key contributor to the development of the program strategy & planning
  • Lead smooth implementation of all activities at contracted factories
  • Identify new ways of engaging with new factories & lead implementation of ideas
  • Monitoring & reporting all key metrics

    R5: Oversee the planning and Smooth implementation of
  • Pop-up clinics and medical camps

    R6: People Management
  • Manage team performance
  • Ensure clear communication with team
  • Monitor team growth and personal development

    R7: Other duties & expectations
  • Display Access Afya employee qualities
  • Manage other Ad-hoc duties (Manage SMS platform, review communications content, manage ECHO mobile relationship)
  • Manage personal growth & development

    Education and Experience:

    Required:
  • Bachelors in Public Health, Program/Project Management
  • Experience with leading programs for a minimum of two years
  • Experience managing and developing teams

    Desirable:
  • Masters in Public health and experience with program management

    Skills required for the position
  • Excellent level of computer literacy (MS Office, & basic databases)
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new systems and work processes
  • Possesses an independent and resourceful nature while structured and systematic in approach
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
